How to get body ready, prenatals? prenatal check?
Posted: 12-18-07 14:31pm

Hey there chickies...I was posting pretty regularly a while back when my fiance and I had decided to ttc...Well, we actively tried for a couple of months (with no luck, obviously) , but we've put it on hold for now as our wedding is next November and I want to be able to fit into my dress...lol! But we are planning on starting ttc again a month or two before the wedding, as we're both super excited to have a family and would like to get a jump start! I'm wondering if there's anything I can do now to up my chances of conceiving next year? When should I start prenatals? When should I have a prenatal checkup with my doctor? Is there anything else I can do to get my body ready? Any tips would be much appreciated! Thanks, lovelies! Very
Happy

Congrats on deciding to ttc next year (an on the upcoming wedding). I've read that it's good to be healthy and limit bad habits. Try to be fit, eat well, and exercise. You probably don't need the prenatals until you start trying. Avoid alcohol, caffeine and artificial sweeteners.

You can ask your doctor for an infectious disease screen and for a general physical.

Good luck!
