Ive visted the doctors and they said its depression and worry, im only 13 and it started a couple of days after my Nan died a couple of months ago, i get a pressure on my head quite a lot and i get this ?feeling? inside my head. My Parents keep telling me "Theres nothing wrong with you!! IF you dont believe us or the doctors who will you believe!?!" Anyway i have a slight pain just slightly above my temple (inside) The other week i played football for 2 hours and i had the pressure in my head apart from that i was fine. Im so worried!!! i cry all the time and feel depressed.. I get headached now and again, i have done for years and they havnt changed. My legs feel a bit weak also.

Your legs are weak. But you played football for two hours. I will have to assume that the weak legs are when you first get up. You are 13. You are still going through many hormonal changes. That can cause head pains. These same hormonal changes can bring on depression. With a tramattic death, will magnify these emotions.
You didn't say how you were doing socially. I assume you have friends to play football with. I would recommend that you do more of that. Activities with friends will help with the depression. You have the regular, normal, things to worry about. You need to make sure you keep your grades up, too. Doing nice things for others helps a lot.
If none of these things seem to work. Don't stop doing them. You will need to talk to your parents about going back to the doctor. See if he has a proper medication for someone your age. Be sure to ask if that medication has been test on teens. Some adult medications can make things worse.

Did you know that headaches and weakness in your extremities can be symptoms of depression? I think if you feel like there is something very, very wrong, you should see the doctor again, but don't forget, what you're feeling is normal when it comes to depression.

I also would suggest seeing a doctor if it is concerning you that much. At least it would ease your mind and come to a real conclusion for you. I'm the type that don't play guessing games with my health. I can't afford to.

Depression and anxiety aside, you are a growing teen, and you have a high activity level. The reason why you feel better when you play is because exercise gets your endorphin levels up (your happy chemicals).

But the weakness in your legs is what I'd like to address more than anything else....it could be due to depression and anxiety, plus the non-support of your doctors and parents making you feel like you have to face some things alone.....

but with your growing and physically demanding lifestyle, you should increase your mineral intake... potassium, calcium and magnesium are three key minerals that will help with your weakness. The makers of emergenC also have a mix that provides a good dose of potassium that is similar to and more beneficial than gatorade. Drink that with a Cal/Mag capsule and see if that helps you, and don't forget to take your regular vitamins. Smile
