Hey everyone, ive did some lookin up in my books and ive read not to be in the sun too long etc etc.. But is tanning okay sometimes? I layed out today in a bathing suit for about 30 minutes, I dont wanna be sick pale like I am now, just want a little color. . Not plannin on gettin dark or anything, just layin out once n a while on the weekends (work all week during the day till 5:30). I know fake tanning is off limits, but do u think layin in the sun sometimes is okay? Ive just read to wear some sun block and not stay out long? I do look a tiny bit red but I think its cuz I am pretty pale. But its not burnt and I put some lotion on. What do ya think? Its finally warm here and sunny, soo beautiful, I hate to be inside even for a minute!

I do once in awhile. As I think getting overheated is what the docs worry about so take precations to advoid that!

You can tan in tanning beds but sometimes it discolours your skin.. Check with the tanning studio to make sure the beds r safe.. I fake n baked when I was preggy.. N layin out in the sun isnt bad just make sure you have a bit of shade to n ur not to hot

Yeah its fine just don't over heat or anything.... Keep some water with you... Me and the dog just sat outside for alittle while.... But if you have chloasma or any hyperpigmentation they say not to stay in the sun cause it can cause permenant discoloration of your skin....

The only thing that they worry about is you getting too hot. It's not that the sun is bad for you or the baby. Tanning beds are ok but you shouldn't lay for as long as you would if you weren't preggo. I'm like you I thought they were bad also but it's just the heat. You can also do the spray on tans because they usually don't have any chemicals in them. I've been asking lots of questions about this too b/c i'm gettin pretty pasty! Hope this helps.
