have chosen to prey on any female wisdom available....im ttc and have only had two periods since coming off the pill, which didnt give me much room to calculate my avg cycle lengths, since my partner currently resides in another country presently, plane tickects had to be bought in advance for this hopeful conception. i calculated my ov date as the 9th Dec based on a 28 day cycle and proceeded to have intercourse from the 7th up to the 11th when i had to return home. On the 12th Dec i noticed a very heavy discharge which of course i thought could be me ov'g and again yesterday (17th Dec) another bout of heavy discharge. I was hopeful as iv read about heavy discharge being an early sign, however i woke this mornig to find blood of a dark pinkish to red thickish consistancy, not very heavy.

would you normally get a heavy discharge the day b4 ur period or could this be early signs of pregancy...its midday as i write this and appears light still and dark brown, my period is not due until the 22nd Dec but maybe i dont have a 28 day cycle and its more likely a 24 day one in which case my period is on time, but that doesnt explain the discharge.....any body?? Confused

Anything is possible. For some women it may take a while for their cycles to get back to normal once coming off the pill. The only way to know for sure is to take a test. If it comes back negative than wait and see if your period shows up full force or not. If it doesn't than test again.

Sorry I probably wasn't much help. Good luck ttc!!!! Hopefully it happens fast for you!!
