If you're on birth control AT ALL you do not need condoms or spermicide.

Im the same way, on birthcontrol and we use a condom. but i still get wayy paranoid. I just keep reminding myself that bc is really effective, and using a condom as well, should make it almost impossible to get pregnant.. but thats just what i think, better to be safe than sorry!

better to be safe than sorry is definatley correct, but it sounds like your taking the fun out of sex big time. Isnt it true that bc is 99% effective if you use it correctly? So then you could just use spermicide for the other 1%. Anyway...

I totally understand why you are paranoid. I do the same thing and use the same methods. One way to combat your paranoia is knowledge. When I get nervous I look up the excuse that makes me nervous. Knowledge is power. Look at women's health sites and familiarize yourself with your body and how birth control works. Hope this helps

All you have to do is reassure yourself: your pill ALONE, if taken properly, will protect you more than 99% against pregnancy. It is far more likely that you will get in a car accident any time you go out in the roads than it is likely that you will get pregnant in the pill (without using condoms too).

My doctor told me that when you use condoms and the pill, your chance of becoming pregnant is so minimal that it could be around a 0.001% chance of pregnancy. That is a very very small amount. I highly HIGHLY doubt that you will become pregnant when you are using your methods so well.

You don't have anything to worry about he'd have to have grade A superhuman strength kind of sperm to even 1) live past the spermicide 2) get out of the condom 3) still be strong enough after all fo that to swim inside you 4) make it past a thickened muscous 5) reach an egg that Yaz shouldnt even be allowed to be released and 6) implant. Using condoms WITH spermicide means you have nothing to worry about not STDs not a pregnancy nothing. GREAT FOR YOU!!!!

okay im in the same situation. I take yaz, my boyfriend uses spermicidal condoms, and he pulls out before he cums. But my period came 3 days earlier than it usually does on the pill?? help me please
