Q: Sore White Spots On Back of Throat Every Few Months

I get these white sore spots on the back of my throat every couple months. I think they are white from being mucus covered or something. They are encircled with red inflamed tissue. Usually they appear as more than 1, about 2 or 3 each time. They last for about a week or two, only to return again 2-3 months later. They can sometimes be really painful. Was wondering what it is and what causes it? If I can prevent them or something... seems wierd that Im always getting them.

Thanks

Know Your Concern
I have part of a solution that has worked for me, but I had one white spot that was different. Went to doctor's for the past 2 or 3 years, and they just looked over this white flag(if you want to call it a flag). Just this week went to a Ear, Nose, and Throat Doctor(if you want to call him so). I had already been to him before last year when I was having major problem with my throat. He said nothing was wrong with me. This time I had him to stick the white spot with a needle, and he looked amazed when a fluid come out of the spot that looked like the fluid that would come out of a staff infection pocket. He had already told me that nothing was wrong with me that I was having false pain. I was thinking Multiple Sclerosis was a died end street for me. But, he just walked off. Went to another doctor the second day after this and he said that it was common among people with a weak immune system. I have Multiple Sclerosis, but did not tell him so. The other doctor's were saying that I was having false pain since I had Multiple Sclerosis. He did a simple blood test to check if I had a sugar problem and to see if this was a virus or a bacterial infection. I was about to loose my mind. He then give me two antibiotics for the problem. I will go back Monday to find out what he called it. As for the solution of what you are talking about you can contact me through ehealth private message system ( it is very simple). I had this problem from the age of about 25 until the year 2000 when I started this simple solution. Always had problems with my sinuses, and after 2000 have not had to take anything for my sinuses except use this solution. yes Shocked
