Hi, I am eighteen years old... I have had my period for eight years. However, my periods are extremely painful.. to the point where there are times that i cannot move and I am in tears. My period is very irregular, this last time i skipped 3 months before I got it again. My period is very very heavy and I have a lot of clotting. Also, when I get my period I feel nauseated and I get diarrhea. I was wondering if there is anything I can do about the pain, or if this is just a normal symptom.

Well, yes it's a normal symptom. But how about birth control? Not only would it make you period lighter and your cramps better, but it would regulate your period so you always know when you're gonna get it.
