The pedi doesn't need to okay it. You can get it at walmart. To let you in on a little secret. A little bit of warm water has the same effect.
It's about 6 bucks for a tiny bottle.

it is really expencive, and you can get it practically anywhere

i have a little tip too....you can get generic for a lot less, even some "dollar" stores sell it (the ones where not everything is a dollar but like family dollar or whatever)

Honestly I don't think they work that well. Ethan and Alex both had horrible gas and it didn't seem to help much at all.

I wouldn't waste your money. rubbing their tummy and patting their back with help just as much. Heck you can come borrow our thing of drops because Brayden never used them since they didn't work very well!

i used little tummies with macy n liam. it has different ingredients that mylicon so they cant overdose on it ( dont know what would happen if they do but im pretty the mylicon can only be used so often and little tummies is as needed) plus its cheaper and smells yummy.

there's nothing medicinal in mylicon so you can use it as often as you want. we actually put it in every bottle for like 6 months.

Mylicon is non-digestible. It takes care of whatever the problem is and just passes on through. The generic is just as good as the name brand and less expensive.

You can try Baby Gripe water as well. You can get that at drugstore.com. I have heard that that will work if Mylicon drops don't. It depends on the baby and what the problem is.

If you lie down with your baby face down on your chest this will soothe the baby. Your warmth will calm the gas, plus the baby loves to listen to your heartbeat. A warm heating pad can also help.

If none of these things work, check with the pediatrician for GERD.

Good luck.
