Geez! I diddnt realize their are so many different types of bottles to choose from! What is everyone out there using? Anyone suggest a certain type that seems to be working well for them?

I was using MAM anti colic bottles but I found there were so many bits to wash up and sterilise and they're really exspensive. Plus if I was having a bad day and hadn't prepared her bottles in time and cooled it in water, cold water would seep in through the colic valve!

I'm using Tommee Tippee "closer to nature" bottles now, they're great! They don't leak, its a big teat so when shes going for it she doesn't suck the air from th teat. She can grip onto them better, comfy to hold and when putting the milk power in, cos they're wide I don't end up losing half a spoon on the surfaces!

Those sound like they are pretty good, I'll try some when my baby arrives. Thanks for the advice. Smile

We tried 4 different kinds and settled on the 97 cent bottles at walmart. She liked those best out of all the expensive ones.

the only thing that works for val are playtex nurser (the ones with the liners) with any other one she pukes everywhere and gets a horrible tummyache, but that probably has something to do with the reflux, id suggest the cheap ones first, if they dont work for her you didnt waste too much money

We use avent but they bug me because if the top isn't on just right they leak. We also use smoothies and the playtex nursers. Jaylon really doesn't have a preference.

i use either advent or tommee tippee anti colic bottles. the only problem with advent, they melt easily in the microwave steriliser
