Hi'

i'm a 23 wf. I woke up this morning and my face was swollen. I have some blood vessels showing on both cheeks and I have a sore throat but no fever.

I was at a party the night before. I had some wine and tequilla. I did not have shell fish. I don't have allergies and this has never happened before.

My parents think I should go to the ER or at least go to a pharmacy for otc allergy tabs. Please help.

Thank You

Hi

Unfortunately people can develop an allergy at any time in their life. It seems weird to be an adult an have allergies but it can be the reason your face is swollen.

Do you have any white spots in your throat? You may have eaten something without knowing you have an allergy to it.

I hope you are feeling better.
It wouldn't hurt to call your PCP or pharmacist to get their opinion on this.

Feel Better Smile
