Q: Sick, Worried

I have the crude and so does my four year old. We can't breathe very well, our nose are runny and it's going down to our chests.

I am very worried for Brian, especially because of his rough start in life and his underdeveloped lungs at that time. He is not sick yet.
I just hope that since I am breastfeeding, he doesn't get sick! I stopped breastfeeding Nathan at 10 weeks and about a month later he came down with RSV. Not saying he wouldn't have if I didn't breastfeed but who really knows. Nathan was sick of and on for about the next two years.

Anyone get really sick while they had infants? What in the heck did you do? I have no choice but to expose him. He has already been exposed to me. I was thinking of getting a face mask today but would it really matter since I have exposed him? Will it really help? Sorry..such stupid questions but I just don't know and am worried. I CAN'T have Brian sick. This cough hurts.

You have given Brian a good start by breastfeeding. Lets hope that is enough immunity.
Hope you feel better

i was told not to breastfeed when you are sick but to pump it and bottle feed it so you arent as close in contact but i guess you dont have anyone who can care for him so you dont have to hold him to close or anything. I guess just try not to breathe on him and wash your hands like a nut
