Anyone want to tell me about their first signs of labor and when they knew it was time to go into the hospital so I have a good idea to know when its time for me please? I'm 38 weeks now and Dr. said I could pop anyday now. I have a ton of BH contractions which are uncomfortable and irregular still but are increasing to more each passing day. I wonder if I'm real close to labor. Ive also noticed headahces, nausea and loose bowel/ mild diareah in the last 2 weeks also. Anything I should be on the lookout for? Anything I should know to distinguish the difference between true labor and false labor?

Mine first time - (no one tells me what and how I got to experience it myself firsthand) was the feeling of going to the restroom after several time it just doesn't feel right and there were mucus. And pain menses like pain it's kinda off and on, intermitent pain. Then I knew it's time - 24hours later Dinah was born.

my first signs with my son was my water leaking wich i was unsure about, u feel like ur peeing or something but you cant stop it, its clear fluid, unless u see it tinged brown or something then you need to head out asap, some peoples water breaks thats noticable. With my daughter it was the contractions, they came at even intervals and got stronger and closer and then my water broke. Then i headed out to the hospital. both my labors were really short though, 6 and a half hrs and 4 hrs.

My first symptom of labor was a very different one, i was really tired so i decided to go to bed early, only i couldn't sleep i had the urge to pee only when i sat down to pee nothing came as i pushed to try and pee the pressure around my bladder would go away. After an hour of this my husband said i should go and get checked i figured i was only getting a bladder infection and it would be a waste of time.I went to the hospital about 10 mins after my husband kept bugging me to go and found out i was 8cm dilated, they broke my water at 9cm and i finally started having contractions, all in all the wole labor and delivery was 3 hours start to finish:)
