Hi, I came here to ask for a little
advice. I wasn't actually sure where to
post this because, i'm sure that I don't
have bone cancer. The thing is, my bones
have been aching so badly, it's hard to
explain.
For example, i'll be crossing my legs as I
sit, and after a span of 5-10 minutes,
there is this sharp pain on my leg bone.
Picture this, you have a twig in your
hand. You can bend it back and forth only
for so long, then, it breaks into two.
That's how my leg feels. Sometimes, I
feel that if I don't un-cross my legs, it
will break. It almost feels like they are
curving also.
Is this common? Is this something that I
should go to a doctor about? I know I
should go instead of being here talking
about it, but I have some other conditions
that I don't want to be exposed. Please
help, if you can!

You Need to See Someone Posted: 06-09-04 18:45pm
Hi,
you definately should see your doctor.
Are you familiar with osteoporosis (break
down of bones) it is really common in
women, frequently due to lack of calcium
intake. It is more common among older
women, but that doesn't mean it doesn't
affect young women either. It's a very
serious condition that needs attention and
you should see a doctor now! Putting off
seeing a doctor will only worsen your
situation.
Good luck,
kathy
