RUQ pain after appendix and gallbladder removed Posted: 12-14-07 17:32pm
I have read all through this forum and I
had no idea there were so many people with
the same symptoms as me. I have to say its
kinda nice to not be going through this
alone.
I am a 23 year old female and all of my
problems started about 4 years ago. RUQ
pain. weight loss. So the doctor ordered
me to have laproscopic surgery to see what
was going on... He ended up finding
Adhesions (scar tissue) all inside my
abdomen (even though this was my first
surgery).. So he cut them and removed my
appendix...
Started to feel better for about 3 months
and then the pain came back but more
intense. So the doc ordered a Hida scan
and nothing showed up so he just decided
to go back in and "see" what was going
on.. Well, Needless to say he found More
adhesions and cut them and removed my
gallbladder.. Again I was fine for about
the same amount of time after the
surgery.
Last week I had a Upper Gi endoscopy a
colonoscopy and a x ray of my small
intestine. the Upper Gi and Colonoscopy
came back fine.. Still waiting on the
results of the x ray But I noticed while
they were taking pictures a small clip of
some sort ?? right in the area where i am
hurting is... Now my question is Are they
supposed to leave a clip in when they
remove your gallbladder ? I am just so
confused... I have been running a mild to
low grade fever for the past three weeks
of 99.9 - 102.0. Doctors said I had blood
in my urine and cysts on my ovary but do
not think that is linked..
Sorry for such a long post I am just
trying to see if anyone else out there is
experiencing the same thing as me...
