Q: Little Worried..rash between fingers, redness on penis

I'm somewhat worried about possible exposures I've had. First, I had unprotected sex with a girl I'd been dating for a month. She's 19 years old. It was my first time and lasted only about thirty seconds. We did it again the same night for about another thirty seconds.

Less than a month later I made out with and recieved oral sex from a woman I'd met at a bar. About six days after this encounter I got flu-like symptoms with fever, swollen lymph nodes in my neck, swollen gums and fever blisters. I had never had fever blisters so I'd figured this was an initial exposure to oral herpes. The blisters went away in a week as a did the swelling of the mouth. I lost about 7.5 pounds during this period but I'm guessing it was because I could hardly eat for a week because of the swollen gums. No weight loss since i resumed my diet. I had taken antibiotics for it because the doctor diagnosed it as strep throat. Right as I got better, I started working out really hard an going out and drinking. This lasted about a week and a half until I began to feel really light-headed and fatigued so I started taking it easy. It's been about a week since then and I developed a slight rash between my middle and ring finger on both hands. It doesn't itch...it's just slightly dry and uncomfortable. I also have slight redness on my penis which doesn't hurt or discomfort me in anyway. The doctor said it was balanitis and gave me a cream for it. Any advice?

Any help would be really appreciated..I'm starting to get really freaked out. I didn't get these symptoms all at once as they were spread throughout a month with the rash by the fingers just a couple days ago..no itching though. Again any reply would be really appreciated.

I lost the weight in about ten days but the only thing I ate in those ten days was pretty much soup because my gums were so swollen and I couldn't chew. The hand rash is really light and it seems to be covering up with dry skin right now.

7.5 lbs is not much weight at all in 10 days if all you were eating is soup. A lot of those healthy weight loss diets make you lose 5 lbs in a week, so loosing 7.5 lbs in 10 days due to illness is not unusual. The dryness between your fingers could be from the weather if you are in a cold climate. I wouldnt worry about having aids, but if you have had many sexual partners it's always a good idea to get tested every so often.

Thanks for all your help guys.

Now that I think about it I probably lost the weight over a period of three weeks. THe only thing I ate was soup for the first 10 days or so and then my appetite slowly started coming back but I still wasn't eating as much as before after the initial ten days of the flu symptoms.

I do live in a cold climate where its been nothing but snow and coldness since I got sick.

As far as partners..I've only had one partner who I've had vaginal sex with one time and three others who I've gotten oral sex from one time each. This is over 21 years.
