Q: Should I Get Health Insurance Thru My Job

My job offers Kaiser Health Insurance. I have an ongoing back condition and have been paying out of pocket for massages and sometimes chiropractic which Kaiser doesn't cover. I believe i may have a more serious condition and should get an MRI. I am thinking of quitting the job soon but as money is tight, not sure when i will be able to do that.
I am worried if i get anything done with my back and i quit the job, that it will be a preexisting condition and I won't be able to get coverage for it in the future when i may really need it.
For years i have said i wanted to get private health insurance so i will not be trapped at a job because of the health insurance but have yet to do it.
$120 a month versus $8 a month with the job is a big difference.
I have to decide in the next couple days if i am going to take it. Any suggestions?
Thanks

i found that taking the insurance through work was a good decision--i can afford the payments as its only 30 a month spread out over the month rather than haveing to pay a big lump sum at a certain time. you can always get cobra and you can always leave the job.
