I would ask Admin about it, She will let you know the criteria for it. Glad you are showing some interest. And you are so right. You will start wanting to help others. That is how you know you are becoming more stable and confident in yourself.

There's a blue button in the upper right corner of every screen that says "volunteer now!" if you wish, you can apply there.

You might want to wait until you've been around a bit longer, though- I think admin usually picks members who have a history of posting for a while to show that you'll be committed. I'm not sure what the exact criteria are either, but you can ask admin (username: admin)
