The back pains have now become a life style it could be in the shoulders, under my shoulder blades or lower back. i used to be a animal but now if i even rake leaves im in my bed for the next week.. could i have a pinched nerve and could this be the cause of the weird feelings in my upper body at night?

Hello Whit3girl,

WELCOME to the forum.

Yes, you are far too young to have to deal with back pain. It really hurts to read what you have been through.

I did not notice in your post that you have sought out the advice of a neurologist or spinal surgeon. If you have not consulted with one of these specialist, then I would highly recommend that you first look for the best neurologist/spinal surgeon that you can find in your area. Talk to people you know that have been to one of these doctors, or had surgery by one of them. Find out which doctor people really liked and had the best success with. In the process you will also find out which doctors people did not like. Call your local hospitals and find out which spinal surgeon performs the most back surgeries and is thought of very highly for his/her expertise.

Then select two or three of the best doctors and make an appointment to see each of them. It is always a good idea to get 2nd and 3rd opinions.

PLEASE don't delay or let your pain condition continue. You really need to find out what is causing your pain, AND to get it taken care of. And in my opinion that does not mean taking pain medication which only covers up the pain, and does not solve what is causing the pain.

Stay in touch and let us know your progress in getting help. If you have any questions along the way, don't hesitate to ask.

Take care.
