You should read the directions on the pregnancy test box again. It states that the best time to take these pregnancy tests is with your first morning urine, as that will have a higher concentration of hormone in it.

Did you read the test after the time frame? Sometimes it can show an evaporation line.

When all else fails, continue to wait a few days and take another test - IN THE MORNING! Smile Or go see your doctor.

Good luck.

You are probably pregnant. The negative one was taken at the wrong time, as Ingi said.

Unless she waited and read the first one too late. After a certain amount of time, pregnancy tests can show an evaporation line. I think she needs to wait a few days and retest to know for sure.

By the way, how late are you?

I had a test read postitive after the time frame and I was pregnant. The first was that one, I took another and it was negitive, then took one more to be on the safe side and I was. I went to plan parent hood and got a positive there too. So I would say wait another day or so and make sure to test with your first urine. I found using a cup instead of just putting the stick in the stream of urine works better. It should tell you how in the directions. Good luck which ever way you want it to go!
