Q: Tmj Concepts replacements done - here to help

Hi all, just found this site, I had bi lateral TMJ concepts replacements in 2000, ( both side replaced at once).

I was hit by a car while cycling and my life became hell, had to leave the Marines etc.

Sine the surgery my life is way better, still have pain/discomfort but hardly ever use painkillers. I do loads of weight training/phyz and life is good.
I know quite a lot about this stuff and have been through a lot, If I can be of any help just let me know

Cheer Very Happy

Tmj Replacement Questions
I understand you had both joints replaced. Please forward me as much info as you can about your surgery. I am in a dilemia about what "road" to choose - get it done or not. I've been told the pain may even be worse after surgery but the opening would be alot greater and my jaw wouldn't go into lock again. If the pain gets worse I don't think I can handle that. Please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks.
