Q: Muscle Disease Unknown Etiology

I was just hospitalized for severe (r) sided weakness, difficulty swallowing, (r) side facial droop and sob. Mri and mra were negative. Two neurologists examined and agreed that something was wrong but do not feel it is mg because it is prominent (r) side although there is some (l) weakness just not as pronounced. Have started pt and it seems to aggravate symptoms. My muscles in spine feel like they are on fire. Difficult to hold up head as neck muscles become weak. I am better in the morning and definately worse with use. Is it possible to have mg and have it be more prominent on one side?

Muscle Weakness
Have your doctor check you for myasthenia gravis. The droopy eyes, and neck, sound like mg. My stepfather has mg. Good luck. Smile
