Like, aside from feeling water come out, can you feel it?

I'm all paranoid that it will break when I'm in the shower or something, and I have on clue if I'll be able to tell.

How do you know?

My mom's was just a trickle every time... same for all my aunts and my grandma. It's not always a gush, and it seems to run in my family to just have a little leak. which is why I'm worried.

Heck, for me my mom didn't even know her water had broken with me until her doctor told her.

It's true... if you're in the shower you may not feel anything at all. If it weren't for the wet icky sensation that gets cooler pretty quickly when you're out and about, you might not realize it broke either lol.

But you will probably notice the baby sitting much lower and it will seem heavier and painful since there's then no nice squishy padding separating the baby's head from your skin and pelvis.

My sisters was broke 3 days before she went to the doctors. It was hardly a trickle, more like a discharge, so that's what she thought it was. But because it was so slow, it didn't harm the baby in anyway, so don't worry yourself too much over it.
