Birth Control Cost On Aetna Insurance...? Posted: 12-12-07 22:58pm
My family has Aetna insurance, and I was
thinking about getting BC in the near
future, and I was just curious to as how
much most BC costs with Aetna. So does
anyone have this insurance? I would
probably try getting the pill. Thanks!

I have aetna, and it doesn't cover my
birth control very well. I take Femcon and
i pay about $40 for a month of it, I think
insurance covers like $10. Fortunately
finances are not an issue for my family...
if it was my only rx they might not want
to spend $40 a month on it, but I'm on 3
other RXs so it's just part of my monthly
load.

Sometimes you can tell your doc insurance
or cost is a problem and they'll prescribe
you with something cheaper (or generic) or
even give you samples. Generics are great,
and sometimes you will even get insurance
kickbacks for getting generic.
