Q: Risks of Oral Sex or Anal sex with wife?

My wife and I have been married for 2 years and want to have oral sex. We both have only had each other, never been with anyone else. Is there any risks involved for us by having oral or anal sex?

I posted on your other thread more about the std risk in this situation, but there is a couple of other small "risks" of oral sex. Sometimes during oral sex, bacteria from a womans vagina get pushed into her urethra, making her risk of getting a urinary tract infection high. If she's ever had one of those (they are pretty common for women) she knows how painful and uncomfortable they can be. Having her urinate afterwards will prevent this from happening. Other than that, oral sex is pretty much all good Wink

As for anal, using a condom is recommended. Bacteria in the area really isn't something you'd want to have on your body, especially if you plan on vaginal penetration afterwards. Make sure you take the condom off (and put on a new one if that is your preferred for of birth control) before entering the vagina. If the bacteria gets into the vagina or the urethra it could cause a yeast infection or a UTI. Neither sound very comfortable for a woman. Also, anal is very painful at first if not performed right. Personally, I just can't do it. However, many women can and enjoy doing it. Using loooots of lube, making sure your wife is willing and relaxed, and going slow will help. There are also sex toys that aide in the process of "stretching" the anal walls, making penetration easier. Supposedly, thats the only part that should feel uncomfortable at first when performed right, but for me it never has become smooth sailing Sad

Good luck with everything
