I can't imagine how many times concerned
people present their specific situations.
Please spare a few minutes to hear out
mine and comment.
I am a man who may have encountered a
unprotected sex act with woman in the
at-risk group. I have no information
wehter she is HIV +/-. I used a condom but
am not sure if it broke due to the
intoxication(alcohol) level I was in and
am ashamed of. If it didn't snap I guess
my enormous stress level will just get me
sick, bu if it did break... I took a 6
week test which was negative.
Acknowledging the facts that it as one
contact, woman-man, the 6 week test
negative, can I sleep calmy I can't now
plus I keep getting symptoms. I can't tell
you wether stress related or due to my
weakness caused b all the symptom causing
stress before the test... I wouldn't
bother if not for the fact "freaking out"
is a light term considering m state.
Anyone competant to a opinion, please
speak up.

What type of HIV test you had?
Which symptoms you are experiencing?
When exactly did you start to feel sick?

I think I had the standard anti-body blood
test. I've read about tests. I'm guessing
this would be the ELISA?
You most likely know the symptoms are very
common for even the flu. I've been feeling
very weak, had a few serious headaches
which is rare for me. I also felt I had
swollen lymph nodes of the neck, but the
doctor didn't see anything. The groin a
little bit but he said that could be from
any cut on my leg. (???) I know I felt
them pulsing. The problem is my close ones
started telling me stress is causing these
things. I myself am pretty disoriented!
For the record. I have been perfectly
stable and healthy in the past. This the
first time I am really terrified.
I started feeling sick not long before the
6 week margin. Althought the "symptoms"
aren't lasting the whole time. Its like
one leaves another one comes...
I know how this sounds. Like a person
panicing for no reason. Although I really
feel weird, am scared and wouldn't be
bothering with it without cause and true
uncertainty. I might not just be able
toput it in words 1:1.
