Given your age (early 50's) and your pre-existing conditions (hypertension and diabetes mellitus), it seems likely that erectile dysfunction (impotency) could be due to local circulatory abnormalities caused by atherosclerosis. You can try using Viagra but only under a doctor’s prescription and supervision. You mustn’t use Viagra if you have been diagnosed with a heart disorder. See you GP for a consultation and to request that s/he prescribe you an appropriate medication.
