Hi! I went to my Dr regarding this but they just fobbed me off with a cream that didnt work....

For a couple of years now i have been really spotty down there on the pubic bone and under my arm pitts. Its really unattractive and making me really paranoid now actualy. I have tried not shaving but nothig makes a different really.. they make scars if they r really bad.

I am a bit overweight and an alternative health specialist told me that i have a candida overgrowth... any idea what this can be and how to help it?

You really can't ask for a diagnoses on here. The best advice that I can give is to go back to your doctor or see another doctor.

It's hard to diagnose dermatologic conditions without seeing the problem. Go see another doctor. I do know alternative (natural) medicine that really works but we have to know what you have before recommending anything. Smile

Follicilitis?

I have the same thing, your hair follicles are getting infected and shaving it spreads it.
2nd the really bad ones that scar are probably really infected because you have an ingrown hair under the skin..
yeahhh i know its ugly but next time you get a really bad one i would recomend you go to the doctor and ask him to poke around to see if he finds a hair under the skin... DONT DO IT ON YOUR OWN!!! i did now i have 2 REALLY NASTY infections on my pubic area taking forever to go away and thats how u get staff infection.
