ok im cutting my hours down after christmas because it's been tiring me out. i usually work 21 hours a week, whereas after christmas i'll be working 12 hours ( 6 hours sunday, 6 hours friday). i really regret not giving her 2 weeks notice because next week would've been my last week doing my normal hours. but, as christmas is the busiest time of the year i thought i'd be nice and help her out.
she said that everyone (!) has to work either boxing day or new years day. i cant do boxing day because im out of town at bobby's mum's celebrating christmas. and new years was supposed to be at my mum's celebrating christmas! but i have to change my plans now.
also, i changed my days a few times with a guy called liam from work. he would be doing my thursday evenings (5- so i can get william in bed on time and i do some of his saturday shift (3-6). right, so the saturday before christmas she's got me and my mum down for working until 8pm! there's no way i'm doing that because the only reason i changed my days was to get home to put william in bed on time. my mums refused to do saturday full stop now as she was only doing it for a favour. ive texted her saying i can not do it and will speak to her about it on friday when i am in next.
and, as i said before, i'm cutting my hours down to 12 hours a week after christmas. well, on the rota after christmas she's put me down for every saturday 3-6. i'm real pissed as i specifically said the days and hours i'd be doing.
i so want to quit on the spot right now, but i need the money
