"Recovery" means that you no longer use durgs. Why are you using Adderall? Why was it prescribed in the first place?

i have been addicted to adderall for almost two years and have detoxed at least 10 times since then...withdrawal is horrible because you go through about a week of not being able to even get up to do the simplest tasks...then the depression starts in and it is severe...adderall is one of the worst drugs to be addicted to and i would do anything to not have ever tried it...to recover from it faster eating fruit with vitamin c and taking niacin pills works to get it out of your body faster...for the depression the best thing to do is get put on antidepressants...but if you mix adderall and your antidepressants it can be lethal because they increase the effects of the adderall...the best advice i can give you is if you get through the first week run away from that drug as fast as you can because it is a path to hell!

Personally, I think the best way and only way, is to consult with your doctor and let him/her know and then you can maybe either go to rehab or let you ween down on your own. DO NOT STOP THIS MEDICATION COLD TURKEY!

Adderal has been banned competely in Canada now.

Addiction is a complex illness that affects different people in different ways. Just because someone gambles, takes drugs or drinks alcohol does not mean that they have an addiction - an addiction is a loss of control over substance use or behaviour.
Addictions are often associated with activities that initially bring pleasure and release from everyday life and pressures. Chemicals produced in the brain which encourage us to partake in activities and enjoy the highs and satisfactions are usually stimulated by these activities. Form someone who knows!
