I have had a stomach ache for about a week now, and have gone to the doctor to get that checked out and they said it was a stomach virus. I feel i am slowly getting better, but last night, i had a round red spot at the back of my mouth that felt like a scratch. this morning i woke up and cleared my throat and there was some yellow mucus-ey stuff i spit out. I went to the doctor today and he tested for strep at the office, and that came back negative. he drew blood for a Mononucleosis test, and i am waiting on those results.
I havent really eaten anything in 5-6 days. and i just brushed my teeth last night for the first time in about a week.

I'm worried because i was looking it up online and it says it could be oral thrush, and someone my age really shouldnt get it unless im HIV positive. I only have one partner and always use protection.

Is there something else the throat sore could be? can you get thrush after being malnourished. Im really freaking out now, about the hiv.
