Q: Loss of Mobility In Left Pinky

Last night I lost partial mobility in my left pinky. When I try to spread my fingers my pinky finger stays next to the ring finger. When this happens I then attempt to move the fingers up and down and the pinky seems to try and overlap the ring finger. I am right handed and have not strained the left hand recently but there has been slight discomfort on the outer (pinky side) palm when any pressure is placed on it. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I have no idea. That sounds like a mystery to me, but if you ask a neurologist s/he might have an answer for you. Can you go see a specialist?
