Multiple Sclerosis Forum - MS Symptoms,how long do they last?

I have not been diagnosed, yet. I have an appointment with a neurologist in a week. I've had MS symptoms for the past two weeks. My question is , if I have the recursive remission MS, how long will these symptoms last? Another question, what is the average period of time between MS flare-ups (for most people with MS)?

My first symptoms were last January, then another episode in late Sepetember. Each took about 2 weeks. Now I'm officially diagnosed with MS.
