Well, I was supposed to start my birth control pack yesterday and didn't, so I guess that means we are officially Not Preventing! : ) So far I haven't had any spotting (knock on wood)! I am hoping I will ovulate as normal and we can bd the week away! haha! I just have this guy feeling it should happen soon. I know, its dumb and I am getting my hopes up, but I can't help it. Anyone have any advice? All is appreciated! Thank you sooo much!

Yeah! I hope your first month is your lucky month!

I have never been on BC, so I have no advice in that department. But, I can tell you what my dr. and women on the boardssaid when we started tryng.

1. Start taking folic acid and a multivitamin.

2. Try temping and set up a fertilityfriend.com account.

3. Use opks, and you will be able to tell the first month if you O on your own. They are alittle pricey, but worth it if there is a problem, you wont have to go thru months of heartache.

4. Have fun and bd like newlyweds! I think sometimes we put too much stress on ourselves and forget to enjoy the baby making process. Too much stress can make some women infertile.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. We have discussed it and for the first 6 months or so, we are just going to bd enough to try and catch ovulation, where ever it may be. Then if we don't have any luck on our own, we will start temping and charting. I do want to "chart" my cm and intercourse, but i have lost my fertility friend info and it won't let me sign up another account. I have been taking prenatal vitamins for about a week now...is that good enough?
