Q: Nick Will Not Eat Vegetables!

In the past year I have only seen Nick eat vegetables ONE time (this is not an exaggeration). It was lettuce in a taco at Taco Bell. The only resemblance to a vegetable that he eats regularly is tomato sauce on a pizza. I'm really worried about his health.

I know I can't MAKE him eat veggies, but how can I convince him how terrible this is for his health? Oh, and he doesn't eat fruits, either. Maybe an occasional apple. Sad

Helppppp!

No! He won't. He's impossible :[ I'm so scared for him. I keep telling him he can get colon cancer or very bad problems, but he denies it. It drives me INSANE. What kind of example is this going to set for our kids? Ugh...he says it's a texture thing, and a taste thing, so I don't know.

When I cook dinner, it's for myself. We buy our separate foods. His is usually frozen pizza and diet pepsi. I don't understand how he even stays at a normal weight.

But vegetables are good.

Will he not eat them on his pizza? We make home made pizza with like 5 different veggies on it and it`s delicious!

Me, my little brother, and my aunt all have the same problem.....I HATE VEGGIES!!! ugh they make me sick. The only thing i like is green beans and thats how my mom cooks them (in bacon greese), and broccoli but only the fuzzy part and it has to have cheese on it.

every time any other vegtable hits our mouths...its come right back up. I dont know what it is....i guess my body wasnt made for them, and im not overweight im actually underweight for my height.

Im almost 5'8 and I weigh 120 pounds.

I am a most-of-the-time vegetarian, so vegetables and I are quite friendly. The only ones I don't like are olives, radishes, onions, and mushrooms. First three are flavor, and somehow fungi just isn't appealing.
Have you looked into getting Jessica (or is it Jennifer?) Seinfeld's cookbook, Deceptively Delicious (or is it Deliciously Deceptive?)? Basically it tells you how to hide veggies in otherwise veggieless foods. IE: pureed butternut squash in mac and cheese, or pureed/liquefied spinach in brownies. It's meant to fool small children, but Nick is acting like a small child with this vegetable thing.
V8, maybe? Or you could at least smack him on the head like they do in the V8 commercials!

He won't eat veggie pizza. To reiterate: he will not eat veggies EVER. On anything. Period.

i doubt your body wasn't made for it. Every body needs them to ensure a healthy diet. I think it is simply in your head that you do not like them.
