What are the chances of a person
contracting hiv by cutting themsleves on
something that someone else may have cut
themself on five minutes prior?
I'm probably just being neurotic but am
curious

It can happen. I mean if you can get it
from a tiny needle that an infected person
used, then I am sure you could get it from
your above scenario.

Well it depends how long the blood was on
the knife if it was dry blood your safe
because dry blood kills the hiv infection
needles are different because no air gets
up in that needle to kill the virus I
learned this from my aunt she works in
boston hospital in the blood lab
