Q: Cramping

I am 5 weeks pregnant, and I too have been cramping. With several miscarriages under my belt, it is hard to get too excited.

This is my second child so I am not new to pregnancy, however I have been experiencing unusual symptoms and I was wondering if anyone else has ever had the following:
urine - strong scent on amnonia and dark dark fecal?

Strange question which is why I am posting.
Thanks

Hi, I Think I Can Help...
I think that the dark urine color is from dehydration. Also, if you are getting too much iron, it can make for dark fecal matter. If you're on prenatal vits, that could be the reason for so much iron.

I hope some of this makes sense to you. I am also pregnant, and have cramps. I get freaked with every one...

I agree with the above poster. You need to drink more water. That might help your cramps too. I have cramps too and I am 7 weeks along. As long as you aren't spotting, it is okay

Cramping
I am also having cramps occasionally. They were more painfull, like sharp pains, in the beginning. Now they are not as often or as irritating. I have had 2 miscarriages and one still born, so I understand the nervousness... My urine is darker and so is my number 2. My doctor says it's because of the vitamines.
