Genital herpes w/ fluid dripping out of penis Posted: 12-10-07 05:02am
My question is really about my boyfriend.
He just found out e has genital herpes
which in fact he has had for years and did
not no what it was so he has always used
protection. Now he has something dripping
out of his penis. I am going in to have a
complete work up. But would you have a
clue as to what he might have? I have not
had sex with him since this has started
but I am scared he may have given me
something.
“Something dripping out” of your
boyfriend's penis could a sign of a
genital infection. If he always uses
protection (such as a condom) during
intercourse, he probably didn’t
“give” you anything. However, you can
request laboratory tests to confirm or
exclude possible sexually transmitted
diseases, for example: genital herpes,
gonorrhea, Trichomonas, Chlamydia, HPV,
Mycoplasma hominis, Ureaplasma urealiticum
etc. You can consult your gynecologist
about this.
