I found out Dec. 3rd that i'm pregnant, and the estimation the doc. gave was 6 weeks.

Thurs., I had cramps and started bleeding so I went to the ER. They tried to be nice, but i could tell the lady really didn't believe i had a chance. She said she didn't see anything. A sac, but no baby.

I'm getting the results for my hormone levels tommorow or tuesday...so nerve wracking!

Did they do a vaginal ultrasound? If they didn't then it isnt uncommon at all to not see a fetal pole at only 6 weeks. If they did do a vaginal ultrasound and still saw nothing then it is a bit concerning. Either way they will still do a follow up scan in a week to 10 days.
Hope this helps.

If you had cramps and bleeding at 6 weeks and they couldn't find the baby, I'm pretty sure you must have miscarried. I'm so sorry!!

I had cramps and bleeding at 5.5 wks. They did an ultrasound and saw only an empty sac. They did blood work and my levels only went up slightly. They told me the baby was dead or dying. I bled for about 4 days... enough that I had to wear light day pads. Went back a week later and there was my baby and a heartbeat. My son is almost two. Pray...don't give up hope just yet.

I went to the doctor yesterday and he says my hcg. come back pretty low. When he did the vaginal ultrasound he said the Fetus. Has not grown and most likely its a false pregnancy. He took out more blood and I have to call back monday. But I can not stop crying......

bleeding
I started bleeding last week myself. I was 6 weeks exactly last Thurs. They saw the baby and heartbeat on a vaginal ultrasound Wed. and Thurs. I was bleeding and the bleeding got worse each day even though the baby was alive. Friday morning, I woke up in a lot of pain. I went to the doctor and the baby had died. I have Factor V. I was taking heparin, prenatal, everything exactly as I was told, yet still lost my baby. It's tough. This is my third loss. I am wondering if the heparin caused my bleeding, then caused the loss of my baby. The doctor says no, but has anyone else had this happen??
