Migraine may occur at any age, but usually begin between the ages of 10 and 40 and diminish after age 50.
How often do you experience migraine attacks?
Do you know what usually triggers your migraine and are you practicing avoidance of that factors?

I have had migraines since i was 12, so i know how you feel. Im going to tell you what my doctor told me....keep a food diary....write down what you have in each meal...and then when a migraine comes on you should be able to identify what contributed to it.
For me...its processed orange juice (anything thats not freshly squeezed), processed cheese (the cheddar cheese), peanuts, and chocolate.

For me it can be a little hard sometimes to pinpoint the cause because sometimes i dont get the headache till some days after consuming whatever it is that i ate, thus the need for the diary.

do you drink coffee? if you do...you should look into that as a contributor....it was giving me bad tension headaches.

also....if when in the sun you find your head starting to hurt....its best to wear dark shades, or if you wear glasses....have transition lens....because people with migraines....also according to my doctor....are photosensitive.

i hope this info helps....because of the help my doc gave me i dont get migraines that often.

OH....by the way....when you have a migraine....what might also help is resting or sleeping in a dark room with silence....it will give your head a chance to rest. Smile

good luck.

You need to avoid certain foods (cheese, wine, orange, garlic, chocolate, coffee and other that you'll need to recognize by yourself), avoid stress, try to keep regular sleep pattern.
There are meds for prevention and meds that help dealing with migraine attacks.
Some people find acupuncture very beneficial.
Good luck!
