Light Pink/orange Period..

Alright i'm kinda new to this so... Here I
go.
I was 2 days late for my period.. It
finally came and it hurt kinda bad at
first, worse than normal cramps. It's
really light, which isn't normal for me..
Normally it starts out heavy and really
bad. Plus, it's a pink/orange color.. I'm
not so sure what's going on here. I
haven't had unprotected sex, but i'm not
on birth control. Any idea on what it
could be? I can't get to a gynecologist
for the next week or so.. So I can't
really ask one quite yet. Any ideas would
be greatly appreciated.. Thanks!

If you have had sex in any form you could
be pregnant, however bleeding and cramps
are not normally a sign of pregnancy.
I wouldn't jump to the gyno because of a
goofy period but that's just me. If that
will settle your mind then go for it. The
other thing you can do is abstain from sex
right now and get a pregnancy test as long
as it's been more than two weeks since the
last act of sex.

Well it's not really bleeding.. It's
really light.. Only showed a little on the
pad.. I've felt pregnant but I didn't
really believe I was. I've been pregnant
once before, but miscarried.. But i've
felt a lot like I did then. I'm not so
sure. I took a pregnancy test yesterday
and it came up negative, but I could have
possibly taken it early. I'll wait a day
or two and see what happens. It seems like
it's stopping already and it only started
about 5 or 6 hours ago..

Again, you need to wait two weeks from the
last act of unprotected sex in order for
the pregnancy test to be accurate.

Alright thank you so much. Do you think
it's possible for me to actually be
pregnant? My periods tend to stay the same
and be normal so this is quite out of the
ordinary for me.

You haven't had unprotected sex. The first
conclusion to jump to when you have
unusual bleeding, should not be pregnancy.
Especially not if a pregnancy test was
negative 
I'll bet your period perks up.

If it doesn't change in the next few days
or if it does completely stop.. I'm pretty
sure that's what it is. I used condoms but
one did break.. Not completely but it
didn't completely hold everything.. I know
for a fact some got out.. But that's a
very small chance to cause pregnancy.

That would have
been good information to include instead
of just saying you didn't have unprotected
sex. Because... you kind of did, if the
condom broke

I've had the same thing happen to me
before in the past and it turned out to be
nothing. I have no idea what caused it,
and both times I suspected pregnancy could
be possible. I'd bet that its just a
wacky period, and that you'll begin
bleeding again at the expected time next
month. I wouldn't make an appointment for
that, if anything just take a test to ease
your mind in a few days.

Ah okay.. I'm making an appt anyways just
so I can get on birth control but my main
worry was pregnancy.
I'd forgotten about the condom breaking at
first. When it happened I hadn't thought
of it as a big deal because there wasn't
much that escaped.. But we'll see in a few
days how things change.

Well this isn't much of an update but the
period stopped overnight.. and started
very lightly again this morning. It's
acting like it's done again. Tomorrow i'm
going to go get another pregnancy test and
see if that's it.
