Led on the front? I'm not sure but Paige was doing it early, when she was led on my chest or on the play mat.

We learned in our early childhood development class that most babies can hold their heads up when laying on their tummy by the end of the first month.

it all depends on the baby and the amount of tummy time they get

some babys do it early, like 2-3 weeks (like val) others dont do it for a longer time (a kid i watch didnt do it until about 4 1/2 monthes) its really not that much to worry about until around 3 monthes

Oni did it in the hospital. It wasn't for long, but she was def doing it!!

They are incredibly strong and underestimated!!!

Now don't expect her to be looking around for 5 mins with her head up, but a good 30 seconds to a min is totally normal!!!!

Yay Kristen!!!!

Luke has always done it I swear. Even now he doesn't need me to hold up his head because he holds it up really well.

My daughter's always done it too. I was amazed at how strong her neck was so soon. She'll be 4 months on the 18th and can hold her head up with absolutely no help now.

i swear finn was the same but my memory may be a little fuzzy.

my niece is 4 months old and they still carry her around like a newborn and hold her head and everything. every time she picks her head up to look around they kind of push it back down to their shoulder and act like she's a week old and can't handle it. drives me nuts!
