Q: Methods to help stop PE, are they safe?

After looking through these forums and seeing all these issues with PE, i'm almost scared to death about it. Don't get me wrong, the other question i haved asked were answered very nicely and they really boosted my confidence. Now, as a precautionary measure, i was reading up on masturbation techniques for guys that suffer from PE. For the past two weeks i have been trying out the "stop and go" technique. Recently i was also working on the kegels technique. Both of these i find annoying, but i'm curious as to whether or not i will see results (i also realize i need to keep these things up for at least a month before i see results.)

-Anyway... Are these things safe to do considering i don't even know if i truly have PE?

- Also, can anyone provide some guidence on either of these techniques so i can make sure i am doing them right?

Thank You!

Yes, they're safe to do. Though I don't do the kegels technique because I find it annoying, it doesn't hurt. Stop and Go doesn't either.

Though I don't suffer from PE, a little extra stamina is always good. I find that breathing exercizes are usually the best way to delay orgasm. Taking deep breaths and compltely relaxing are the best ways for me. I've even begun to be able to control when I orgasm by doing it.

well i can see that they don't hurt. That wasn't really my question, but okay. So, i assume you practice these breathing techniques during both masturbation and when ur with a partner, right?

With the stop and go technique, are you suposed to go as hard as you can until ur about to finish, numerous times? OR should you go at a normal pace and then stop before you finish, numerous times?

also, with kegels: is it something i should do everytime i go to the bathroom for it to have an affect, or if i forget to do it is it going to set me back in terms of progress?

haha. I didn't mean physically hurt. I meant it as in "A glass of milk a day won't hurt".

Anyways. As far as I know.. with the stop & go technique, I don't know if it matters as I have always assumed that it's not the actual duration that matters, it's about delaying orgasm. However, if I were to choose between the two, I would try fast, and see how long it lasts.

I don't think not doing the kegels will set you back if you forget to do it. I think you can just do it whenever you want. Whenever you think about it, really.
