Q: used Paraguard IUD for 1.5 yrs - pregnant!

Hi im new my name is Kate im from MA. I am a mother of 2 children who are 4 1/2(daughter) and 20 months (son). I am cureently pregnant with baby number 3. I want to let you all that i am on the PARAGUARD IUD. Ive had it in for a yr and a half without ANY problems what so ever. And recently found out i was pregnant. Nothing is fool proof and please be very careful using the IUD or any form of birthcontrol. Nice to meet you all.

I got pregnant on the Paragard, had an abortion, and had another one inserted.

NOTHING is 100%. No one has ever told any woman that paragard is perfect.

NO BC method is 100%, that is why we have options.
