I just had (four days ago) hydrocelectomy,
My doctor told me I could engage in sexual activities but it would be painful.
It left me wondering if what he meant was that the act itself (endangering my testis) would be painful or the ejaculation itself?
Obviously sex with my girlfriend would hurt in the condition I'm at,
But what I'm trying to ask is if relaxed and careful masturbation would also hurt?
Thank you very much for your answer

I would think that it wouldn't be the actual ejaculation that hurt, but it would be the time right before when your testicles are put under a significant amount of stress by your scrotum and surrounding muscles (I'm assuming that you had an incision on yours scrotum during the hydrocelectomy). I would suggest careful masturbation... even with your girlfriend at first. That way, you control what happens to you and you can gage what hurts and what doesn't.
