Washington..my home state! Snow??? I would say rain unless you head up to the mountains or heading to eastern WA. Are you talking about WA state or WA DC??

I would say dress her in layers. You will be taking clothes off and putting them on a lot, depending on where you are. Carry around a few blankets as well. She should be fine. She looks pretty cozy in the last picture!

Wow! She is a cutie, as always. She looks so much older in these pictures than Brian. What a cute family.

Wow! You are such a hottie! Your little one is gorgeous. I have no tips for flying and extremely cold weather though. I live in Alabama and have never been on a plane. I hope it all goes well.

We are so excited.

Layers.. Got it.
Should I maybe bring her tights up and put them on under her pants or is that a bad idea?
haha i really have no idea.. im southern californian born and bred.

I don't think that'd be a bad idea to put tights under her pants, I bundle Kaylee so much that she can barely move lol. Do you have a snowsuit for her? The one we had for Kaylee we didn't need to put extra clothes on her because she would stay so warm in that thing she'd start sweating.

since she isnt walking i would just get her a fuzzy bunting suit, a snow suit isnt necessary unless you plan on letting her play in the snow. you can just put her regular clothes on and then the bunting and its so much easier. Blankets for covering her face. I always put tights under macys pants and a long sleeved onesie but with liam we just put him in a fleece suit in fact i just bought roan one a few weeks ago at the Childrens place and im in FL so im sure they have some where you are. and it was only $16.
as for the plane ride every baby is different and she might not care or she might scream the whole way. take a binky or bottle for take off and landing since the sucking will help her ears and then packa diaper bag full of snacks and toys and dont forget the changing pad! macy pooped and the plane didnt have a changing table so i had to put her on the floor on a trash bag in the flight attendant area. shes flown 9 times and liams flown 4

Yep! You will definitely be in coooolld weather in Wenatchee. Did your hubby attend WSU? If so, when did he graduate? I noticed the hat and cringed!! LOL. Just tell him I attended U of W and he'll understand. We are rivals!

I saw those at Children's place and they look so comfy! Great idea, Dani. They are pretty inexpensive now. Dani also has great ideas for travel as well. Hold off feeding for as long as you can and wait until you are taking off and landing. That is the best advice I can give you regarding traveling with an infant. Lil' Nate has also flown a lot in his young life. The lack of changing places really stinks if your little one has a BM. Bring that changing pad!!!

Try not to stress about people around you! I have noticed that I get the most comments about parenting when I travel. You may get some glares if you little one cries and/or you may get some well-intentioned people trying to give you unsolicited advice. Be prepared!! Perhaps your trip will be uneventful! Good luck!

I have two from there! lol

I was thinking that most people keep their houses warm so if i just dress her in normal clothes (sweater and pants) underneath that wed be okay.

Karin, he is a HUGE Cougar fan!!
He didnt go there (he joined the marine corps when he was 18 ) but we might moved there if he can get this job with the marines where he would be in charge of the ROTC. You should hear the things he says about the Huskies lol. He made me record the Apple Bowel when he was gone training and has rewatched it twice. Its his dream to go to WSU.

ill remember the waiting on feeding her.
Is there any meds I could give her as well? Or should I hold off?

You really are a lucky girl.....you have such a beautiful family, not to mention the fact that you are one hot mama yourself!!

I would probably hold off on the meds.......I think that she should be fine. How long is the flight? If there is snow there than you should definitely bring a bunting bag and a couple of blankets just to be safe. With the bunting bag she will be fine with just her clothes underneath.

I hope you have a great time. I am sure his family will love you!!!

I put tights on Logan under his jeans in winter too! Nobody ever sees them and it stops him getting cold.

You are so beautiful and have a lovely family Very Happy

I agree withthe layering advice. I ususally put Hannah in tights, then a cotton one piece and then a fleecy one piece when its really cold. If we are going out in the cold I then stick her into her snowsuit and she ends up looking like a big pink fluffy marshmallow. For flying, be sure she's drinking from a bottle during landing and takeoff so her ears will clear. I used a sling when flying with my babies because it was a lot easier to get throught the airport and my relatives had a stroller and car seat. If she has her own seat, then I would get a little luggage rack with wheels and bungee her carseat to that to get it through the airport. they get so heavy! If she doesn't have her own seat then just keep her in the sling for the entire flight. I tried medicating Geneva with benadryl but it just made her kinda crazy, so unless you know it will make her sleepy, I don't reccommend you try it at 10,000 feet. Take lots of toys for her and some snacks in little packages. I am not sure iif the airlines are still saying no unopened packages or not, but you can always get those small snack packs of goldfish and crackers and stuff. You can also get her 3 or 4 new toys she's never seen and wrap them up for her and then each hour of the plane ride open a new toy for her. Babies love wrapping paper. Hopefully she will be a good traveler for you. Have fun in the snow!
