Here is a little bit of my story...

I am 18. my boyfriend and i have been together for awhile now... we have been through ups and downs and i wont even pretend like we have the perfect relationship. We love each other very much and we drive eachother up the walls in so many ways both good and bad.

last month i thought i might be pregnant it turns out i wasnt. but midway through november i got sick. i was tired and achey my upper back hurt alot. and i just didnt have the strength or ability to go through the day with out taking a nap. sometime later, just a few days, in the middle of the night i called my boyfriend and said "im pregnant." he said " go back to sleep you know your not you took a test, remember?" and i responded" yeah, but i am now."

since if i took a pregnancy test then we wouldnt have gotten a correct answer we had to wait about a week and a half.

last week i got a positive, but i was told by a lady at the clinic that i was having an ectopic pregnancy.

You'll come out of the surgery just fine; and you'll still be able to have children when you're ready and want to Smile Are you graduating this December?

I can't believe they're allowing you to put off surgery for an ectopic pregnancy for so long? What about the risk of rupture?

I would question that too. A rupture can cause death and internal bleeding.

Generally they take you to surgery IMMEDIATELY.

they said it wasnt an immediate risk, though i should get it done asap. i cant get it done any sooner than my finals, because if i dont take them i will fail my classes, all fo which are prereqs to get into any uc. though they are making me come in about every other day since then to make sure i am ok and that i can make it, but im not able to do anything drive myself, go out other than to school, i am basically under house arrest with out the anklet. and 2 of my teachers are actually letting me take my finals at home the other two require me to go in. i know i shouldnt but if i dont wait then i fail a semester that i would have to take all over again, and as long as i dont rupture i can put it off, i know its a case of stupid vs stupid but i HAVE TO PASS. i cant put myself back in college any further than i already am. i wanted to get into a 4 year last year but something came up and i was unable to, now i have to.

edit: i go in tomorrow and if i can i want to get it moved up to friday right after my last final.. which i do have to go in for unfortunately. tomorrow i get to stay home and do my final. (my final exam schedual was given to me the day after i found out so i had to guesstemate when i would have finals and when they would be done. thats why i made it so late.)
