Last night we went to Celebration in the Oaks. It's a big thing in New Orleans. They have lots of Christmas lights and rides and stuff. We left an hour later than scheduled, so I knew we'd be out way past her bedtime. I was counting on her falling asleep on the way home. Well we left there at 10, 2 1/2 hours past her normal bedtime and we live 1 1/2 hours from N.O. Well, I put her pjs on before we left so she could go to sleep. Then it dawned on me that she hadn't eaten a thing in 4 hours! I felt so terrible. We fed her at 6 and left. We were so caught up in all the excitement over there it never occured to me to give her a snack. I gave her some crackers and then tried to fed her a bottle, but she didn't want much of it. She was okay until we were 30 minutes away from home. She started getting aggravated. Then she was okay until about 5 minutes away from home. She was hysterical. I was trying to calm her then all of a sudden she just started puking up everything she'd eaten all day. Her body was jerking and it was just all over the place. It was so hard watching her throw up and I know she was confused about what was happening. When I put her in the tub she was trembling and still screaming. I cleaned her really good then rocked her to sleep. Jesse stayed up until 3 cleaning the car and the carseat. I ended up putting her with me in bed until 4 when she woke up to play. I wasn't having that so I gave her a little bottle then put her in bed. She went straight to sleep.
She was fine today. She may have been carsick. It's def. not a virus.

She's cried worse than that and never even spit up. Ava's only thrown up three times in her little life. I'm not sure what it was. She's great now though. It was hard to see her so confused.
