Q: Late Insertion of Nuvaring - Week 1

Hi - I just realized I hadn't put my next ring in this last Thursday after my period, and it's now Saturday around noon (so lets say I was late by around 38 hours). How long do I have to use other methods of birth control? Is it the entire month? Or just the first week or so? I don't believe I could be pregnant because my husband and I haven't had sex since the day or so before my period last week.... or could I be? Thanks. Confused

Especially eHealthy

You need to put in the ring and then use protection for one full week. You were not protected on Friday and you will not be protected until next Saturday.

Nuvaring - a week late?

I am putting in my Nuvaring a week late (I was on vacation and forgot to bring a new one)....should I put it in now or wait until next month or what??

Could i get pregnant

I have been rly busy and forgot to put my ring. it has been more then 6 days and then i put it in and my boy friend and i had sex that night and he cam inside of me, could i get prenant?
