Extremely eHealthy
Evening primrose is an Omega 6 fatty acid. It is important to maintain a balance of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. I do not know where you are from, but in Western cultures (such as the US) diets are very, very high in Omega 6 f.a.'s throwing the balance off.

I would be interested in knowing more about why you are taking the primrose oil. I also believe it is better to get your omega 3's from food sources versus supplements as it is easier on your body to process.

Let me know what dosages you are taking and what your diet is like.

MS patient taking EPO and Fish Body Oils
Dear all,
Hello my name is Ximena Garcia. I live in Colombia South America. I have been diagnosed with MS since 1995. My mother instructed me at the time to take Evening Primrose and Fish Body Oils to help balance levels of omega 3 and 6. I am curious also to know if I am taking enough of both each day. I take 2600mg of EPO and 1200mg of Fish Body OPils, both capsules bought at GNC.

Thank you for your help and avice.

omega-6/omega-3
According to this government website, your ratio of omega-6/omega-3 is about right (2.5/1).

Importance of omega-3
Public and medical awareness of Omega-3 is even more important with recent study on preventable deaths showed that dietary Omega-3 deficiency is an important cause of preventable death.Omega-3 can be easily replenished in the diet and many unnecessary deaths prevented by increasing Omega-3 intake. Two things I tell every patient and every person, two things, if you only do two things, make it Omega-3 and exercise. please see the kink below for further info on omega 3.
