Symptoms Before Implantation But After Fertility? Posted: 12-08-07 12:20pm
Before I ask this question, I just want
you to know that I KNOW that the medical
community feels that symptoms before
implantation are not possible bc as far as
they know the fertilized egg does not
release any hormones prior to
implantation. I KNOW that is the general
concensus in the medical community. I am
interested in anecdotal stories. Has
anyone out there had weird symptoms during
the week right after ovulation and then
found out later that they actually were
pregnant? What were your symptoms? Any
insight would be appreciated.

I think this happens a lot, actually. In
fact, I would be willing to bet a lot of
women feel pregnant a lot of months. They
don't remember it because they end up not
being pregnant. However, when they do
become pregnant they say, "I KNEW IT! I
knew I was pregnant!" And that will be the
time they remember.
I know a lot of wishful thinking or even
fear of pregnancy can come into play
during that 2 week waiting time.

I do know of a women who had symptoms as
soon as the egg implanted. They know this,
it's happened all 3 pregnancies. She is
extremely sick when she's pregnant. So I
don't know I think sometimes yes but most
times no.

I really do not believe anyone ever had
any symptoms prior. It just can't
physically and biologically be....There
are no hormones in your blood to feel
anything ! Like Ingi said "wishful
thinking"

I never felt any that soon. Not even
frequent bathroom trips and that's the
first thing that tipped me off. I started
getting symptoms about 2 days before my
missed period.
